In the year 2007 a new college was started in Gurur Block of Balod District of Chhattisgarh as Government Naveen College – Gurur. Since that time Geography Department was formed. The main objective of the department of Geography are as well as providing better education to students, to build their bright future and to increase interest in geography. For this, Seminar, Group discussion etc are organized from time to time regarding the course of the subject.
